Through this unique collaboration, we invite you to ponder over the possible futures of human welfare through thought-provoking artworks that push the boundaries of creativity and understanding. Let these powerful visuals inspire conversation, challenge assumptions, and encourage us all to shape a better tomorrow.

Experience the future with Abhishek

“In the 1950s, the end of the war ushered in a period of futuristic optimism and imagination prompting extraordinary visions of the future. Numerous magazines and comics carried stories and visuals of space colonies, flying cars and imaginations of what life would look like in the 2000s. Fast forward to the 2020s, we are once again at the precipice of a moment like that where we are met with unprecedented development in the technological space, mainly the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI). As numerous debates erupt globally about the impact of AI on the world, I embark on a quest to envision glimpses from a world in the near future based on insights shared by a few future forecasters.

As someone with a background in graphic design, advertisements and graphics from the yesteryears fascinate me as they possess the ability to transport you to a different time and offer a glimpse into the trends, aspirations, consumption and marketing patterns. Inspired by the insights shared by the forecasters I try to imagine and visualise their predictions as how they would appear in the pages from a magazine of the future."

Visualise the world of tomorrow with Ayaz

“The future will be messy. And much like the present, it will be a work in progress.

The insights from the interviews conducted with forecasters were fascinating to read and sparked a hundred ideas. While the big macro trends are sometimes easy to spot, we also see weak signals from elusive futures manifesting in our present. The fourth industrial revolution is coming. Conglomerates are taking over agriculture. The use of AI across almost all disciplines is inevitable.

I'm very interested in mundane futures—technology deployed in our everyday lives, creating the chaos and texture of our existence. What would happen if a developing country like India hacked their own clumsy version? Would vendors and fruit sellers enjoy being tracked by facial recognition? The idea of the past and the future coexisting in the present is almost a cliché, but we see this daily, and the future will likely be the same.

Through my artworks, we explore this world of tomorrow, as seen in 2045.”
